If you are using this book for ensembles or classes, please purchase digital “copies” for each member of the group. The ensemble rate is one copy at the full download price, plus an additional $4 per person for each member of the group that you will be sharing the book with. This ensures affordable access for large groups and ensembles, while also paying the editor and publisher for their work. You must also purchase the full price PDF version to receive the download link; this item is only for purposes of distributing copies to the rest of your group.

A favorite tradition at CDSS Early Music Week at Pinewoods is Madrigal Night, where we gather with the beverages of our choice to sing everyone’s favorites. This collection includes everyone’s old favorite 4- and 5-part pieces from “The Acapella Singer”, plus more old favorites that aren’t in it – and maybe your new favorites, too!

Editions are laid out for easy reading, with minimal page turns. Pieces are presented in their original languages, in modern notation with barlines, and with only treble and bass clefs (no C clefs).
